In her speech Rosnah said that the public should pay more attention to their health and adopt a healthier lifestyle.

She also commended the Pantai Group for initiating such an effort and was impressed with the hospital’s consultants and management team as well as the staff who allocated their time to be part of the event.

Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur Chief Executive Officer Engku Marina Engku Hatim said that circumcision among boys or young adults lowered the probability of contracting urinary tract diseases.

“We believe that prevention is better than cure hence one of the objectives of this initiative was to engage the younger segments and to cultivate the importance of health awareness,” she said.

The overwhelming response at the event showed that Malaysians were more health conscious and willing to participate in events that contributed towards healthier living.

Also present at the event were Cheras Umno division chief Datuk Wira Syed Ali Alhabshe and Pantai Hospital Cheras Chief Executive Officer Chong Siet Fong.
