Little India’s recent upgrade does not reflect Indian culture and tradition

What say you on the issue below?

I AM sending this email to make those involved in beautifying Ipoh’s Little India realise that more needs to be done to showcase it in a better way.

The Government had previously allocated RM1.5mil to beautify the area but sad to say, after spending that much of money, what is there to show of the Indian culture and tradition or architecture?

Look at the arch that has been built. What does it reflect?

Now, the Government has again allocated RM300,000 to upgrade the stage, which was only built recently.

Nothing to show: The stage in Little India does not showcase any Indian element.

Whoever designed the stage should have known better.

In its efforts to gain the support of the Indians, the Government is allocating a lot of money for the benefit of the community but the money should be spent correctly and wisely.
